  • Now bend the string towards the guitar and roll it under the first string. Then turn and roll it over the string in the hole. This process is called as a locking method. It is the correct method to wrap guitar strings correctly.
  • The next step is to wind. Wind down the post because if you wind upwards, you will have no downward angle over your nut slot.
  • Suppose you are replacing all the strings. Repeat this process on the rest of your strings.
  • Now take the plier and cut the rest of the string. Tune your guitar often to make it fast and get going with it.
